Real gold prices and real rules, replayed as backtests. These two trades show how a signal works. They aren't live results or a guide to future results.

Everything you need to judge a trade, on one screen

AI Trading Bot signal screen: a backtested gold buy with entry, stop loss, target, risk ruler and the reason for the setup
  • Where it came from

Backtested trades say so in the list and on the signal. They never count in the live record.

  • The direction and entry

Buy or sell, the market, the timeframe and the exact price.

  • The risk ruler

The distance to the stop against the distance to the target, measured in R, your risk on the trade.

  • The levels

Entry, stop loss and target. Each signal is set before the trade starts.

  • Why this setup

What triggered it, what argues against it and what would cancel it, in plain English.

How a signal gets to your phone

  1. The strategy reads the market

When each bar closes, a written set of rules checks the gold price. Most bars produce nothing, and the reason is logged.

  2. The setup is checked

Stops that are too tight or too wide, weak reward for the risk and duplicate trades are all rejected.

  3. You get an alert

The signal reaches your phone with its levels. You choose which alerts you want.

  4. The trade is followed to the end

Fills, targets, stops and expiries are recorded with their times, and the result goes in the record, win or lose.

What to know before you use any AI trading bot

"AI trading bot" covers very different products. An execution bot connects to your broker or exchange and trades your money automatically. A signal bot, which is what this app is, finds setups and sends them to you, so nothing happens in your account unless you do it yourself.

Whichever you look at, ask the same questions:

  • Can you see the losses? A record with no losing trades has been edited.
  • Are backtests labelled? A backtest is a simulation. It should never be presented as live performance.
  • Is the risk stated first? You should know where a trade is wrong before you know what it might make.
  • Does it promise returns? Nobody can guarantee a trading result.

We apply those questions to ourselves. When we tested our first strategies on a year of prices, most of them lost money, so they aren't switched on. Gold range breakout is the one that held up on data kept back for testing, and that's a small sample that could still be luck. It's now running live, and its record will build one trade at a time.

Questions

What is an AI trading bot?

It's software that uses automated logic to find or act on trades in financial markets. Some bots connect to your broker and place trades for you. Others, like this app, publish trade setups and leave every decision with you.

Does AI Trading Bot place trades for me?

No. It doesn't connect to a broker, doesn't place trades and never holds your money. You see the setup, and you decide what to do with it.

Is AI choosing the trades?

No. Setups come from fixed, automated strategies with written rules, so the same market conditions always give the same answer. AI-written explanations are planned, and they'll be labelled wherever they appear.

Which markets does it cover?

Gold (XAU/USD) signals are live now. EUR/USD, GBP/USD and USD/JPY follow once their strategies pass testing, because the versions we tested so far lost money.

What does Backtested mean in the app?

It marks a trade replayed on historical prices using the strategy's rules. It wasn't published at the time, and it isn't counted in the live record. A backtest shows how rules would have behaved, not what will happen next.

Is it free?

Yes. The app is free to download and has no adverts. You don't need an account or an email address.

Is this trading advice?

No. Signals are general information, they're the same for everyone, and they don't take your circumstances into account. Trading can lose you money quickly, so only trade what you can afford to lose.
